St. Andrew's is proud to be part of the Oval Learning Cluster.
Since 2009 we have been working together and in partnership with a range of other organisations, including local charities and voluntary and community groups, local businesses , the Primary Care Trust, arts organisations, the School Sports Partnership, adult education providers and the City Learning Centre to provide learning opportunities for children and their families in the Oval Ward area of Lambeth.
For children we offer opportunities such as a Saturday booster programme, a range of activities for the more able, a Year 4 residential trip, an Early Years Toy Library, holiday play scheme and the opportunity to take part in the Lambeth Children’s University.
For parents we offer a range of adult and family learning courses, and we also commission an Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Family Support Worker and Reading Champion to work across the cluster.
Staff working in cluster schools and children’s centres attend regular network meetings to share ideas, resources and contacts, and we hold joint CPD courses and INSET days.
