As a voluntary aided faith school we must take part in a Section 48 inspection following any visit from OFSTED – therefore, unlike a community school, we have two inspections!! The Section 48 inspectors visited St. Andrew’s for one day and they focused on our spiritual and moral education. They were interested at the way we teach Religious Education and they were seeking evidence of our Christian distinctiveness as a Church school.
We are delighted to report that, on this occasion, the team of inspectors judged St. Andrew’s to be OUTSTANDING.
